John H. Stone Obituary
John H. Stone passed away peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2014. He was 95 years old. Mr. Stone was a resident of the Milford Veteran's Home since 2011, having served in the Naval forces for 21 years, retiring as a Commander in 1963. John also served as a member of the Royal Air Force during World War II, flying ground support missions against Rommel's advancing German Panzer attacks. Several years after the War, Mr. Stone was stationed in Greece as an Assistant Attaché in the Air Force's Intelligence division. After retirement, he worked as a civilian for the Government in their Intelligence Agency (DIA).

Mr. Stone also worked in public relations for the March of Dimes from 1972-1981.

Mr. Stone loved art, tennis, and golf. Most of all, he loved his country and family.

He is survived by his daughter, Bobbie Mary Stone of Dover, his grandchildren Raymond D. Falconetti Jr., Laura A. Santore and her husband, David, and Paul D. Falconetti and his wife Lisa, and his great-grandchildren Alyssa, Logan, Bradley, Payton, Justin, and Stone.

There will be a private ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, where he will be buried alongside Alice, his beloved wife of 44 years, who passed in 1988.
