Leslie Ann (Failing) Betts Obituary
Leslie Ann Failing Betts passed away on Nov. 8, 2016. Leslie graduated from CR High School in 1978 and was general manager of Eastern Shore Energy for the last 27 years.

She enjoyed their large garden and freezing the rewards. Among them the treasured zucchini bread, were enjoyed by all. She and Jim loved to cook, and for many years presided over large and lavish holiday dinners enjoyed by all the family and fiends. A friend of hers was indeed a friend and did not have to be reminded in life, and they know they don't have to be listed in death. Leslie very much loved animals, especially her dogs Seagram, Nateal and Billie, her cat Chase, bequeathed to them by Jim's mother, Kathlyn (better known as Si) her dear horse Teresa's Beach and the two newest horses, Jean and Jiggs.

Preceding her in death were her beloved husband, James H. Betts, who died Jan. 15, 2013, father Raymond Failing, and two sisters, Denise Jelliffe and Teresa Mitchell.

She is survived by her mother, Jean Failing; her siblings, brother Jiggs Failing and wife Wendy; sister Robin Case; nephew Adam Case, wife Sarah Elizabeth and their son AJ; niece Kimberley Waite, husband John and their children Chase, Alexa and Lainey; her step-children Trey Betts, wife Christy and their children Ian and Ava; Kelli Weidlein, her husband David and their daughter Madison.
She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, it is her wish that she be honored by donations to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
