Nolan Price Obituary
Nolan T. Price passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 84.

Nolan was born on May 18, 1931 in Wilmington, son of the late Edward and Minnie (Noland) Price.

He worked at the GM Auto Plant on Boxwood Road for 39 ½ years. For many years he worked at Globe Union (Middletown) and Acme Markets along with General Motors. After retiring from GM, he joined Kingdom Kid's Day Care in Hartly as chief cook and maintenance man. He worked there until his sickness caused his retiring after 25 years.

Nolan loved the Lord, his family and friends, as well as the children that he served at the daycare. No one cooked like "PopPop." Nolan was a hard-working man, devoted to his family and extremely generous. His quick wit and warm smile will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Shirley Price; his son, Joseph Price; his sister, Josephine Manlove; his brothers, Charles Price and Emil Price.

He is survived by his three sons, Thomas N. Price (Christine) of Townsend, Gerald E. Price (Charnelle) of Milford, William C. Price of Dover, four daughters Judy P. Nazelrod of Hartly, Amy B. Graham (John) of Dover, Minnie S. McKee (David) of North Augusta, SC, Rebecca P. Martin (Allen) of Dover; one sister, Mae Young of Woodbury, NJ; 25 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, three additional great grandchildren due to arrive this year, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Liberty Church , 1150 College Rd., Dover.
