Virginia also enjoyed attending the flower show in Philadelphia every year.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was also preceded in death by a brother, Russell Hastings.

Virginia is survived by her husband of 49 years, Edgar B. Hickman; her two daughters, Kimberly R. Insley & her husband, Duane, of Hebron, Md. and Kelly Gondeck & her husband, Dave, of Dover; three grandchildren, Hannah R. Insley, Adam Insley & Hunter Gondeck; a brother, Clarke Hastings, of Laurel, and three step-daughters, Joan, Ellen & Sandra; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Funeral Services will be held at noon, Saturday, June 25, 2016, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may view one hour before. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
