Dudley, Mary - Durant  
Mary Ann Dudley a cherished family member and resident of Mead, Oklahoma passed from this earthly life in Denison, Texas on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the age of 65 years 8 months and 23 days. She was born on Wednesday, December 7, 1949 in Durant, Oklahoma to George and Goldie (Tucker) Phillips. Mary loved working in her vegetable garden growing and gathering the fruits of her labor. She liked going to the lake whenever she could. Mary was a Mrs. Southeastern runner-up in 1968. She enjoyed baking for her family, a good game of bowling, playing the piano and crocheting. She loved her family but especially cherished the time she spent with her beloved granddaughter Tristyn. Mrs. Dudley is survived by her son, Brandon Wylie of Durant, Oklahoma; daughter, Tamra Wylie of Mead, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Tristyn Hamilton of Mead, Oklahoma; sisters, Jeannie Usry and husband Gerald of Durant, Oklahoma and Shirley LeFlore of Grand Prairie, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members; and companion, Duane Jensen of Mead, Oklahoma. Mrs. Dudley was preceded in death by her parents, George and Goldie Phillips; sister, Jane Jones; and brother, James Phillips. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Holmes - Coffey - Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okalhoma. A funeral service in honor of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the Holmes - Coffey - Murray Funeral Home with Bro. Monty Woods officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Armstrong. Serving as pallbearers will be Phil Jones, Eric Bryant, Scott Bryant, Kevin Usry, Kyle Usry and Kendall Usry. Claudette (Gainer) Hales, 70 of Calera, Ok. went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at her home. Hopkins, Roy - Durant  
Roy Paul "Frog" Hopkins was born on December 9, 1937 in Atoka County, OK to Thomas Otto and Nora (Graham) Hopkins and passed from this life on August 30, 2015 in Denison, TX at the age of 77 years, 8 months and 21 days. "Frog" has been a life long resident of Atoka and Bryan Counties. He attended school at Caney and worked in the auto body repair business but his true passion and life work revolved around his ranch and his cows. He married Lana Langham on August 30, 1956 in Caney and they were blessed with 4 children. He was a member of the Armstrong Baptist Church and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. "Frog" is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Lana Hopkins of the home; children, Tish Hopkins Stockslager of Ada, Stanley Hopkins and wife Kim of Caddo, Jill Love and husband Tim of Caddo and Roy Lee and wife Miranda of Bokchito; 6 grandchildren, Chad, Nathan, Brooke, Laramie, Harley and Mason; 3 great grandchildren, Darren, Rainie and Erin; 2 sisters, Rosie and Tubbey and a multitude of other family and dear friends. "Frog" was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Amanda Lee, Calvin Graham, Margaret Hoss and Henry Hopkins and siblings, Lucille, Buelah, Eula, Louis, Abe, Mary, Dolly, Tom, Dukie, Sam, Allen, Short, Samuel, Audrey, Pete, Joe, Emzy, Tootsie, Bill and Graham. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Roger Speers and Bro. Bennie Hammonds officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Todd Argo, Tony Argo, Max Argo, Ron Dodd, Jim Andrews and Kenneth Whorton serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Franklin, Ron Fryer, Jim Fryer, Gary Hamill, Dude Phillips, Bud Argo, Alvin Franklin, Gerald Nickles, Charlie Nickles, Daniel Crites, Jerry Rowland, Charles Sammy Howard and Boyd Johnston. Morgan, Naomi - Durant  
Naomi Morgan a resident of Calera, Oklahoma passed from this life and joyfully joined her Savior at the age of 87 on Monday, August 31, 2015. She was born on April 28, 1928 in Durant, Oklahoma to Clinton C. and Bonnie Gertrude (Walker) Kent. Naomi Kent married Bennie Robert Morgan in California on June 21, 1947. Naomi was a woman who dedicated her life to caring for her family and home. She moved to Oklahoma from California in 1954. Naomi was the oldest living member of the Westside Baptist Church where she was a faithful member since 1966. Mrs. Morgan is survived by her daughters, Debbie Bragg of Durant, Oklahoma and Rhonda Chandler and husband Kenneth of Durant, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Grady Smith and fiancé Angela Fulce of Durant, Oklahoma, Heather Smith of Durant, Oklahoma, Lori Bennett and husband Stacy of Durant, Oklahoma, Brandi Ansiel and husband Bobby of Durant, Oklahoma, Andrea Miller and husband Tim of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Shembra Wilson and husband Cliff of Durant, Oklahoma and Tammy O'Dell and husband Randy of Duncan, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Brandon Bennett, Jimmy Tran, Ashley O'Dell, Ravyn Ansiel, Logan Bennett, Braeden O'Dell, Daelan Smith, Sage Waddell, Jaycee Ansiel, Landon Smith, Sienna Waddell, Melissa Ansiel, Logan Ansiel, Briar Wilson, Ethan Bragg, Cooper Bragg, Kami Jo Smith and Baby D.; great-great granddaughter, Amelia Kate Bennett. Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton C. and Bonnie Kent; husband, Bennie Robert Morgan; daughters, Kathy and Becky Morgan; sisters, Geraldine Sharp and Aleta Wilhite; brother, Bill Kent; and son-in-law, Jerry Bragg. A gathering of friends and family will be from 7-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Holmes - Coffey - Murray Funeral Home in Durant. A funeral service to honor her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel with Bro. Jesse West officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Grady Smith, Tim Miller, Stacy Bennett, Brandon Bennett, Jimmy Tran, Bobby Ansiel and Cliff Wilson. Prough, Ricky - Durant  
Ricky Eugene Prough a resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the age of 60 years 11 months and 21 days. He was born on Monday, September 6, 1954 in Durant, Oklahoma. He attended schools in Ardmore and Dickson, Oklahoma. Ricky then moved to the Dallas, Texas area. He was a long haul truck driver from coast to coast for many years. Recently he had enjoyed serving as a custodian for the Durant First Baptist Church. He is survived by his mother, Betty (Wingfield) Branch and husband Jerry of Butcher Pen, Oklahoma; father, John Prough and wife Dorothy of Durant; son, Johnathan Prough of Durant; sister, Cindy Thomas of Pawley's Island, South Carolina; brother, Jerrell Prough and wife Jeanine of Durant; granddaughter, Talitha Mize of Lubbock, Texas and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Ricky was preceded in death by his son, Trevor Prough; brother, Kenneth Prough; brother-in-law, Garry Thomas; paternal grandparents, John and Grace Prough, and maternal grandparents, Arthur and Thelma Tucker. Memorials can be made to Celebrate Recovery at the First Baptist Church in Durant. A church service was held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 31, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Durant with Bro. James Robinson and Brother Fred Ward officiating. Interment followed at Highland Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mike Coburn, Allen Hobbs, Mark Estus, Larry Dresser, David Robinson and Charles Sartor.
