Kevin Wells

Kevin Wells of Bennington, Oklahoma, was born on January 24, 1982 to Levvin Acie and Linda Kay (Elliott) Wells in Durant, Oklahoma. Kevin passed from this life on October 5, 2013 at the age of 31.

Kevin has lived in Bryan County all of his life attending Bennington High School and later attending Murray State and Southeastern where he earned his bachelor's degree in safety with a minor in environmental science. Kevin enjoyed riding four wheelers, lifting weights, playing video games, and anything outdoors. Kevin was of Baptist faith and will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

Kevin is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Jim Elliott; paternal grandfather Ruben Wells; paternal grandmother Mozelle Wells; and an uncle, Randy Elliott.

He is survived by his parents Levvin and Linda Wells; daughter Macie Wells of McAlester, Oklahoma; sisters Lesia Jones and husband Ed of Bennington, Oklahoma, Lori Wells of Durant and her fiancé Duke Kirk of Gene Autry, Oklahoma, Rhonda Currie and husband Chad of Bennington, Oklahoma; maternal grandmother June Elliott of Soper, Oklahoma; nephew Casey Jones of Bennington, Oklahoma; niece Madison Currie of Bennington, Oklahoma; the mother of his daughter, Tiffany Wells-Cotts of McAlester, Oklahoma; and numerous aunts, uncles, and other family and friends.

Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Kevin will be Friday October 11, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Service Chapel in Durant, with Bro. Roger Speers officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Bennington with David Vandenburg, Casey Jones, Jason Wilkerson, Jay Barfield, Drew Wingfield, Dusty Smallwood, Clint Knight, David Malone, and Mark Pulis will serve as pallbearers.
