Alvin C. Bagby 87, of Caddo, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday night March 19, 2014 at his home with his loving family at his side. He was born February 3, 1927 in Caney, Oklahoma to Jess and Margaret Bowen Bagby. He attended Post Oak schools and was an Army Veteran during World War II stationed in Japan.

He married Pansy Phillips November 5, 1948 in Sherman, Texas. He was a self employed carpenter and loved to build cabinets and raise cattle.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, 4 Brothers Elmer, Elick, Robert and Troy Bagby and a Sister Valley Bagby.

Surviving is his Wife Pansy Bagby of the home Caddo, Son Leroy Bagby, Daughter Shirley Carr, 2 Grandchildren Brian Doyle and Shelby Kampplain, 2 Great Granddaughters Katelyn and Emalyn Doyle all of Caddo, Brother Jack Bagby of Caney and Brother-in-Law Dude Phillips of Caddo. Numerous Nieces and Nephews also survive.

A Graveside Service for Alvin Bagby will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday afternoon March 21, 2014 at the Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo with Reverend Jeremy Parham officiating.

Pallbearers will be Lloyd Boehme, J.V. Edwards, Bill Ammons, Utah Nation, Jerrod Stanley and Terry Reese.
