Calera-Laura Jane Snow, age 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, November 8, 2013 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital-WJN in Sherman.
Mrs. Snow was born May 24, 1933 in Woodville, Oklahoma the daughter of Bryan and Vivian (French) Howard. She loved to help others, work on her farm and to do yard work. She retired after 26 years of service from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Laura will be remembered for her kind, loving nature and deep sense of compassion. Her passing leaves a void in so many lives, but her spirit will dwell in our hearts forever.
Mrs. Snow leaves behind her beloved family, siblings, Joy Vaden and husband, Bill of Calera, OK, Merry Bryan Heindselman and husband, Corky of Calera, OK, Bill Howard of Ft. Worth, TX and Carolyn Tarr and husband, George of McAllister, OK, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family member, Stanley Cobbs. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lawrence D. Snow and sister, Jennie Lynn McGee.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Jimmy Parrish and Dr. David Dillow officiating. There is no set time for family visitation.
