Lee White

Lee White of Kenefic was born February 26, 1953 to Vernon and Marie (Vandevier) White in Madill, Oklahoma. Lee went home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 25, 2014 in Denison, Texas at the age of 61 years. Lee and Phyllis Sandefur were united in marriage on October 8, 1983 in Kenefic, Oklahoma. Lee and Phyllis attended Freewill Hopewell Baptist Church where his mother is still an active member. Lee is a 32nd Degree Mason.

Lee worked for Lattimore Materials Company for 37 years and also worked his way up to a Plant Area Manager. Lee was a heavy machinery mechanic operator, he quickly proved himself to Mr. John Lattimore working in all areas of the rock crushing company.

He was certified in explosives, he proved himself dependable and capable to oversee operations not only locally but throughout southern Oklahoma and north Texas plants. He enjoyed hunting, playing with his dog, Smokey, gardening, cooking, camping, and spending time with his family.

Lee is preceded in death by his father, grandparents, baby James Lee White in Feb 1979, 1st wife, stepdad Thad Jackson, and sister in law Ruth Ann.

Lee is survived by his wife of the home, Phyllis White of Cumberland, mother Marie Jackson of Kenefic, brothers; Lonnie White and wife Gwen of Milburn, Leslie White of Kenefic, and Lindal White and wife Faye of Caddo, sister in laws; Alicia Self and husband Dennis of Madill and JoAnna Meloy and husband Johnny of Wilson, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 2:00 pm in Brown's Funeral Service Chapel. Rev. Lyndol Adams and Bro. Mark Clark will be officiating with interment at Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn, OK. Family Hour will be Monday, April 28, 2014 from 6-8:00 pm. Pallbearers will be J. D. Hicks, Johnny Meloy, Ken Schultz, Dennis Self, Jeremy Self, and J.C. Smith. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to go to Freewill Hopewell Baptist Church.
