Danny Hartline

Danny Hartline entered this life on September 17, 1938 in Belmont, North Carolina, born to Paul Franklin and Ruth Pauline (Kendrick) Hartline, and passed from this life on January 27, 2014 in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 75.

Danny lived in South Carolina for fifty years and moved to this area in 1995. Danny worked for the Department of the Air Force as Branch Chief of the Aerospace Ground Equipment Branch and later he worked for the Big Lots Distribution Center in Durant. Danny married Donna Shans on August 23, 1986 and was blessed with 27 plus years of marriage. Danny was a member of the Live Oak United Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors, and loved his dogs. Most of all, Danny worked hard to provide for his family and he dearly loved his children, wife and family.

Danny was preceded in death by his father and mother; stepmother, Mary "Delores" Hartline and son, Danny Paul Hartline.

Danny is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Donna Hartline of the home; children, Lisa Jones of South Carolina, Sabrina Roquemore of Clayton, Ohio and Jason (Michael) Hartline and wife, Susan of Belton, Texas; sister, Joyce Goins and husband, Ben of South Carolina; brother, Paul Hartline and wife, Carla of South Carolina; grandchildren, Christopher Hearndon, Tiffany Jones, Tammy Jones, Alyssia Kearns, Justin Roquemore and Stephen Jones; 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A celebration of Danny's life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Live Oak United Pentecostal Church in Durant. Rev. Lawrence Buller will officiate. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery with David Houston, Stephen Roberts, Ricky Roberts, Bryce Harper, David Rogers and Larry Whittington serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday evening from 5:30-8:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Liveoak United Pentecostal Church, P.O. Box 302, Durant, OK 74702-0302. Online condolences may be sent to the family at Arrangements are under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service, Durant.
