Stanley S. Kellam entered this life on November 24, 1925 in Utica, Oklahoma born to Delbert and Etna (Marksberry) Kellam and entered the gates of Heaven on March 17, 2014 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 88.
Stanley attended school in Utica and Caddo and later married Wanda Knowles on August 15, 1953 in Durant. The Lord blessed them with four sons and 60 years together. Stanley drove a propane truck for Stone Propane for 32 years and Blackburn Propane for 8 years until his retirement. He was a dedicated member of the Silo Baptist Church and he enjoyed fishing, playing dominos, camping out deer hunting and his family was the joy of his life.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Etna Kellam; son Jerry Keith Kellam; brother TL Kellam; sister Ruby Ellis and infant sister.
Stanley is survived by his loving and devoted wife Wanda Kellam of the home; sons Steve Kellam and wife June of Cobb, Billy Wayne Kellam of Silo and Monty Kellam and wife Theresa of Durant; grandchildren Steven D. Kellam and wife Tabitha, Bradley C. Kellam and wife Michelle, Patrick N. Kellam and wife Sara, Nicholas Wayne Kellam and wife Lauren, Zachary Scott Kellam and wife Shannon, Elizabeth Watkins and husband Dale, Jerad Kellam and wife Kerri, KC Kellam and fiancé Heather and Sarah Robertson and husband Ryan; great grandchildren Ashlyn, James, Alex, Aiden, Max, Maddi, Sydni, Evie, Liah and KI; daughter in law Gayle Ellis and husband Doyle; brother in law Waylen Knowles and wife Susan; sister in law Jean Kellam and numerous other family and friends. Special family members Corey, Rebecca and Cohen Rucker. A celebration of Stanley's life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Silo Baptist Church. Pastor Scott Hamilton will officiate. Interment will follow in Silo Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
