Earlene Dyer Gray was born on September 20, 1928 in Bokchito, Oklahoma to Earl and Mae (Dill) Dyer and went home to be with her Lord on May 13, 2014 in Frisco, Texas at the age of 85 years, 7 months and 23 days.

Born and raised in Bryan County, Earlene attended Impson Elementary School and graduated from Bokchito High School. Earlene married Royce Lee Gray and they were blessed with sixty-five years together. She was a dedicated wife and mother and grandmother to her family. She was a member of the Bokchito High School Alumni, Pink Ladies of Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder, TX and the Fairview Baptist Church in Durant. She was a talented seamstress and she was an avid gardener.

Earlene was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Mae Dyer; brothers, Gerald and Gene Dyer; sister-in-law, Mary Dyer and daughter-in-law, Chandra Gray.

Earlene is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Royce Lee Gray of the home; children, Wayne Gray of Frisco, TX, Teresa Young of Lubbock, TX, Mitzy Elledge and husband David of Temple, TX and Peggy Key of Denison, TX; grandchildren, Deidre, Jennifer, Devon, David, Elissa, Steven and Halley; 7 great grandchildren and extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Bill Ledbetter and Bro. Jimmy Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7-8 PM at the Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family at
