Lacreasha Shaila Jolyann Mowles, a resident of Mesquite, Texas, a beloved mother and family member left this life to soon in Dallas, Texas at the young age of 26.
She was born in Durant, Oklahoma, on Sunday, February 14, 1988, to Stanley Lance Mowles and Deanna Kay (Knipe) Craig.
Shaila was a beautiful, vibrant young woman who enjoyed dancing and singing. She loved modeling, the pleasure of swimming, tanning and playing softball.
Shaila was committed to her family and friends as they were the center of her life.
Shaila is survived by her kids, Caden, Cason, Canan and MarLee; parents, Lance and Krystal Mowles, Deanna and Jeff Floch and Jennifer and Paul Cripe; grandparents, Peggy and Ken Ervin, Helen Arnold-Thompson and Allen, and Jolene Knipe; siblings, Darrid and Kandace Mowles, Destiny Mowles, Kelsey Wright, Marshall Mowles, Austin Cripe, Brian, Tesa, Tara and Cody Floch, Micah and Prestyn McCarty; nephews, Isaiah and Jasper; niece, Calliope; aunts, Patsey Burns, Shelia Roland, Sharon Matheny, Ramona Schatzer, Kim Mullens, Shawna Wallace, Brandy McCarter, Regina Quinlen and Jeannie Barfield; uncles, Gary Curtis, Dan Arnold, Kendall Ervin, Nicholas Arnold and Timmy Callaway.
Shaila was preceded in death by her grandparents, Linda and Stanley Mowles and Dan Arnold; uncles, Richard Hoglan and Neil Mowles.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-7:00 PM Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma.
A Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 10, 2014, at the Mead Baptist Church with Bro. Kerry Groce and Bro. Buddy Manners officiating.
Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. The pallbearers will be TJ Trantham, John Trantham, Tyler Farrington, Tanner Farrington, Adam Cantrell and Randy Cantrell. The honorary pallbearers will be Kendall Ervin and Nicholas Arnold.
