Naegle, Larry  
Larry Jess Naegle Cedar City, Utah Larry Jess Naegle unexpectedly passed away peacefully at home on April 22, 2015 in Cedar City UT, where he lived his entire life. He was born November 12, 1948 to Jesse and Eden Naegle. Larry played football in high school and was an Eagle Scout. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After returning from the war, he used his hard earned money to buy his 1969 Mach 1 Ford Mustang, which he loved maintaining and restoring throughout his life. He married Virginia Mae Christensen in the St. George LDS Temple. They were married 42 wonderful years and had four children. Larry worked as a carpenter and custom log home builder for thirty years. His craftsmanship is still seen on Cedar Mountain today. In his later years, he worked as a supply truck driver for Southwest Plumbing Supply for 16 years. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The most important things in his life were his faith and family. He was an amazing father and grandfather. In his spare time, you would find him with his family, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, shooting bows at the archery range, or visiting car shows. The highlight of every year was the archery hunt with his son and daughter. He was known for his storytelling, his smile, sincerity, and a willingness to help. Preceded in death by his son Larry Brent; his sister Roberta Petty; and his parents. He is survived by his wife Virginia Naegle; his children Christine (Kody) Prisbrey, Lisa (Jeremy) Michaelis, MaryAnn Naegle, and Daughter-in-Law Richelle Naegle; his grandchildren Kyler, Lacey, Rachel, Shawn, Kenny, and Nathan; and his sister Betty Bess. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Greenslake Chapel, 1177 West Greens Lake Drive, Cedar City, Utah. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Southern Utah Mortuary, 190 North 300 West, Cedar City. On Wednesday, April 29, 2015 the viewing will be held at the Church from 9:30-10:30 pm. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
