Messer, Ann  
Ann Harris Messer Beaver, Utah Ann Harris Messer, age 83, passed away February 18, 2015 in Beaver, Utah. She was born to Orville Duane Harris and Hester Neal Harris in Beaver, Utah on July 29, 1931. She enjoyed participating in cultural civic arts and was very active in the preservation of the history of Beaver City. Ann always opened her home to anyone and everyone and loved feeding her legendary sourdough pancakes to family, friends, and stray travelers stopping by. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions including Stake YM and Gleaner Leader, Primary President, YW President, Stake Extraction Specialist, and Family History Specialist. She enjoyed studying the scriptures and was a gifted speaker and teacher of the gospel. She was also a gifted storyteller and was often asked to tell stories at the elementary school. Ann loved everyone and was loved by them in return. Ann is survived by her children Gary Neal Messer of Cedar City, UT; Karianne Jarvis (Rick) of Beaver, UT; Tracy Joy Davis of Cedar City, UT; Jacki Lynn Smith (Alan) of Delta, UT; David John Messer of Cedar City, UT; Dana Kay VonRolleston (Wes) of Monroe, UT; Paul Jay Messer of San Diego, CA; sisters Mary Harris Lowe and Joyce Harris Gale; 24 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband John Creighton Messer; her parents; her grandparents Daniel Duane Harris, Henry Earnest Neal, Francis Elizabeth Tolton, and Alice Yard; and her husband's best friend Norman Bradshaw. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 23, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at the Beaver 2nd Ward Chapel (15 North 100 West) in Beaver, UT. Viewings will be held Sunday, February 22nd from 6-7:30 p.m. at Southern Utah Mortuary (195 N 200 W) in Beaver, UT and Monday, February 23rd from 10-11:30 a.m. at the church. Morgan, Richard  
Richard Morgan Mesquite, NV Richard Lee Morgan, 79 passed away February 14, 2015 in Mesquite, NV . He was born July 16, 1935 in Hollywood, California to William and Evelyn Walters Rosenberger. On December 18, 1994 he married Marie Elizabeth Henning Morgan in Las Vegas, Nevada. She preceded him in death on April 6, 2011. Richard grew up in California. He served in the US Navy, and then enlisted in the US Air Force where he served for over 20 years, retiring in 1974. He continued to work in aviation, an occupation he loved. He retired to Mesquite, Nevada, but continued to work at the Player's Island and later at the Casa Blanca. He enjoyed fishing, astronomy and his pet cats. Richard was active in the Loyal Order of Moose, The Elks Lodge and The Local Mesquite VFW. Although he never had children, he made many friends over the years. A memorial Graveside will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the Mesquite City Cemetery. Murray, Tommie Sue  
Tommie Sue Murray Ogden, Utah Tommie Sue Estes Murray passed away on Tuesday February 17, 2015 in Ogden, UT. She was born February 20, 1932 in Yellville, Arkansas the only child of Shirley & Martha Estes. She graduated from Burley High School in 1950. On Aug. 18, 1950 she married the love of her life V. Jack Murray. Tommie Sue loved spending time with her family, entertaining friends, serving in various church callings and taking drives on Sundays. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her whole life. She is survived by her son J. Glenn (Sheri) Murray of Smithfield, UT, daughter Connie S Clark of Katy, TX, (9) grandchildren and (12) great grandchildren. Tommie Sue is preceded in death by her husband Jack, son Stan, great grandson Jaren, her parents and in-laws. As per her instructions, Graveside services will be held Saturday February 28, 2015 at 11 am in St. George, UT. Arrangements are under the direction of Myers Mortuary in Ogden, UT.
