Donald Dean Jackson passed on June 30, 2013 at home in Cedar City, Utah. He was born to Wilder Douglas Jackson and Susan Mildred Barton in Belfry, Montana on December 28, 1927.

He graduated from Richfield High School. While in the Military he served in Japan. He married Diana Lee Ericson August 22, 1963 later solemnized in the Manti Temple May 14, 1964. Dean loved to fly, loved the outdoors. He worked as a Painter and Motel Operator. He loved reading, gardening, riding motorcycles, flying, and prospecting.

Survivors are his Wife; Diana, Children; Clark (Margy) Lynn, Julie Ann Forman, Scott (Taura), Teresa (Rhett) Taintor. Grandchildren; Ashley, Aaron, Alex Foreman, Gage Taintor and Ceclia Jackson and Son in Law; Thomas Palmer. Brothers; Sterling (Lucille), Frank (Pattsy), Gail (Rose) Jackson. He was preceded in death by both Parents, Brother; Douglas and Daughter; Cherie Lee Palmer. Special thanks to all who cared for him and especially Grandson; Aaron for his love and compassion for Dean in his final days. Services will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cedar City LDS 15th Ward Chapel (500 W 400 N). Military honors to follow at the church.
