He then went on to attend Utah State University where he studied Civil Engineering. It was while attending Utah State that he met his wife Andrea. After graduation they moved to St. George where he was employed as a Geotechnical Engineer at AGEC. He loved his job and working with the unique soils of Southern Utah. He was an active member of the LDS church and served in any capacity he was asked. He loved the gospel and had a strong testimony of his Savior Jesus Christ. He loved and served his parents. He loved his brothers and sisters and their families. He loved living close to his in-laws, and had a special relationship with them, as well as with his wife's sisters and their families.
