We mourn the death, but celebrate the life of Charlotte Marie Keel, 63. Charlotte was born in Galena Park, Texas on January 3, 1950 to William Clayton and Bessie Louedia (Claborn) Swearingen.
Charlotte attended Smiley and North Shore schools in Houston and was an outstanding swimmer. She graduated from The Law Enforcement Academy in 1979 and served as an outstanding Peace Officer in Montgomery County, Texas for many years.
In 2000, her and her husband, Bill, had moved to Central Texas from Montgomery County. Charlotte and Bill had recently moved to Cameron and were restoring a historical home on one acre located on Ross Avenue, with plans to develop a rose and butterfly garden. Bill will continue with her dreams. Charlotte was well respected and very loved by everyone that has ever known her. She had a way of seeing the good in everyone and the magic of the world.
Charlotte passed away on April 15, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents and Baby Joey. She is survived by her husband, Bill R. Keel; son Carl Richardson and wife Allison of Magnolia; daughter Dana Hall and husband Chuck of Russelville, Arkansas; sister Sharon Mabry and husband Ronnie of Conroe; brother-in-law Ronnie Keel of Liberty; seven grandchildren: Jacob, Kayli, Caleb, Bailee, Brianna, Clayton and Connor and two great grandchildren: Leighton and Carl and many, many friends.
