Virginia Garcia Lozano Obituary
Virginia Garcia Lozano
May 3,1936 - February 9, 2014
Resident of Danville
Virginia Garcia Lozano passed away peacefully on February 9, 2014 surrounded by her children. Even in her last moments on earth, she managed to teach her family one final lesson about strength, grace and courage.
Virginia was born on May 3,1936 in Antioch, California to Frank and Mary Garcia. At nineteen years old she met and fell in love with her husband Frank Lozano. They were married in 1956 and later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple for time and all eternity. They eventually settled to raise their family in the Concord area. Before her retirement in 1992, Virginia worked as an Account Clerk for the Mount Diablo School District for seventeen years. Virginia's greatest joy in life was her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother.
Virginia is reunited in death with her husband, Frank D. Lozano Jr. She is survived by her four children, Frank Lozano III (Diana) of Oakley, Leslie Eddy (Jim) of Danville, Jeff Lozano of Oakley and Kimberly Tucker (Terry) of Danville. Virginia was a loving grandmother to ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a large extended family that included her two sisters, Francine Coy and Judy Bosche. Virginia's loving and nurturing spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her.
