Noreen Mae Augustine
May 17, 1933 - Mar. 1, 2014
Resident of Concord
On Saturday, March 1, 2014 our beloved mom, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother went to be with her beloved angels. Noreen was born May 17, 1933 to Edward and Norna Bullardin Fresno. She proudly graduated from Mount Diablo High School in 1951, and shortly after married her high school sweetheart Larry Malone. They had 3 children who were the love and light of her life, Deborah Carroll, Nancy Honeychurch, and Mark Malone who were all blessed to be by her side in her final days. Noreen was proudly and lovingly a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority ,and the love and fellowship of the members she considered her family lifted her up and sustained her for almost 57 years. Noreen retired from Kaiser Permanente after a dedicated career of over 30 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Concord, and Pastor Russ held a special place in her heart. She was also a member of the Concord Senior Center and was the secretary there for many years. She is preceded in passing by her brother Daryl, her mother and father Edward, Alan and Norna, her husband Larry Malone and her last husband William Augustine. She is survived by her children Deborah, Nancy and her husband Bruce, and Mark and his wife Amy. 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Her loving sister-in-law Jeanie, her special friend Jim, her dear friends Pat and Ken, Donna and Gordon all of whom have been close dedicated friends and neighbors for over 60 years, other members of her beloved sorority and many, many friends that along with her family will miss her sweet soul and beautiful blue eyes forever . A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM, March 6 at the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, 3039 Willow Pass Road, Concord. Memorials in Noreen's memory may be made to First Christian Church.
