Carol Jeanne Thomason Obituary
Carol Jeanne Thomason 1955 - 2014 Resident of Fremont Passed away suddenly in San Lorenzo, Feb. 28, 2014, at age 58. Carol Thomason will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Her bright smile and pleasant out look remained "child like" in spite of her 58 years. We wish to thank the many care givers and teachers who gave of themselves when working with Developmentally Disabled individuals. It takes a certain type of person, with a caring heart and patience to work with this population. Carol grew with the help given by those who worked in the various programs, namely beginning with Nursery School at Walpert Center; Sequoia School; Roy Johnson High School; Castro Valley Adult School; Sorensdale Program; and Camping Unlimited. Carol was currently attending the Community Day Program in Fremont. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Charles Thomason. She is survived by her mother; Alice Thomason, her sister, Anne Marie Hoy; nephew, Matthew Hoy; aunts; Sarah Ross, Kathleen Wilmoth, Anita Tavernier; uncle; Marshall Rexinger and many cousins. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 7th, 2014 at 1pm at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward. In lieu of flowers, please donate to: Community Day Program, 44250 Warm Springs Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538, or Camping Unlimited, 4610 Whitesands Ct., El Sobrante, CA 94803 or to .
