Elaine Geraldine Fairman born to Andrew M. J. Owens, Antrim, Ontario, Canada and Mildred Helena Sparks of South March, Canada was called to the Lord June 11, 2014 in Livermore Ca. where she resided from April 2012, to the present time. Prior to that she lived in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego Ca. with her late husband Arlie Fairman. She is survived by her brother Donald Owens and his wife Carol of Washington State and her three children Robert Hill, Pleasanton Ca., Karen Hill, Castro Valley Ca. and Jeffery Hill, Hartland, Michigan. Also survived by her four grandchildren, Stacey, Cameron, Evan, and Kelsey Hill and her two daughters in laws Stella and SueAnne Hill and Michael Counts fiancé to Karen Hill. Also Including the Fairman family, Becky Fairman, Jenny Fairman de Beausset, Zandy, Kyle and Sasha. Elaine is a graduate of Cooley High School in Detroit and worked for American Motors. She also co- owned the Alphabet Gallery in Plymouth Michigan. Elaine had many talents that included crafts of any kind. Most recent she made beautiful hand crafted cards for many new and dear friends. Elaine was most known for her extensive Christmas village display. She loved the celebration of Christmas and made a hobby collecting buildings of Dept. 56 Dickens and Christmas Village. Elaine would set up her village in September and dismantle it in February sharing it with many people. She and her village were featured in the front page of the San Diego Tribune. Elaine was loved by many for her generous loving spirit. She will be dearly missed by all that had the privilege of knowing her. Elaine's prime companion was her little Yorkie, Demi. Demi added joy and companionship to her life and was always by her side. Elaine will be put to rest in Michigan with her Mother and Father. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the .
