Hubert Treat

Hubert Treat, age 79, passed away at his home in Leslie, AR on February 23, 2008. He was born October 3, 1928, to William Luther and Eula Evelyn (Rains) Treat at Green Forest, AR.
He graduated from Leslie High School as Valedictorian of the Class of 1947. From there he spent 30 years in the Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force, he was manager of the Oldsmobile, Nissan, Cadillac, Dodge and Chrysler dealership. Hubert was a member of the VFW, American Legion, NEA Life member and Masonic Lodge in Texas. He was active in the Quails Unlimited and anything that supported wild life. He loved to fish in his spare time. He was the most proud of all of his children. They are all college graduates.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Flora Ann (Heard) Treat and his parents, William and Eula.
He is survived by two sons, Rodney of Benton, AR and James of Fort Riley, KS; three daughters, Anthea Brogan of Rose Bud, AR, Jane Denton of Columbus, MS, and Catherine Lovett of Lubbock, TX; one brother, Harlie Treat of Leslie, AR; two sisters, Cratie Rees and Coreen Boyd, both of Leslie, AR. and ten grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, February 29, 2008, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Roller-Coffman Chapel.
Services will be Friday, February 29, 2008, at 2:00 pm at the Nubbin Hill Church with Joe Williams Officiating.
Pallbearers Zachary Treat, Kenneth Brogan, Michael Treat, Nicholas Treat, Harlie Treat, Jr. and Tim Drewry. Honorary Pallbearers Jacob Lovett and Joshua Lovett.
Burial will be in the Canaan Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Coffman Funeral Home.
