Charles Edward Dannheim, age 67 of Farwell, TX passed away on March 28, 2014, in Farwell, TX
Charles was born on May 2, 1946, in Clovis, NM to William Henry and Lorine D. (Bohot) Dannheim. He was raised and went to school in Farwell, TX. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Charles lived in Amarillo, TX until his retirement in 2008. He then moved to Farwell. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
Charles is survived by two daughters: Elizabeth (Ray) Young of Amarillo, TX and Patricia (Shawn) Cleaver of Ft. Myers, FL; two sons: Charles E. (Rochelle) Dannheim, Jr. of Amarillo, TX and Peter (Sarah) Dannheim of Amarillo, TX; two brothers: William Dannheim of Farwell, TX and David (Vicki) Dannheim of Hereford, TX; two sisters: Evon Levisee of Little Rock, AR and Linda (Frank) Fipps of McCloud, OK; grandchildren: Hannah, Becca and Carson Young; Charlie and Timothy Dannheim; Shelbee, Kayla, BreeAnn, Megan and Morgan Cleaver; Mollie, Brooklyn and Emily Dannheim and great granddaughter Sloane Cleaver.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents; one sister in law: Caroline Dannheim and one brother in law: Buddy Levisee.
Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m. (CST) on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at St. John Lutheran Church in Lariat, TX with Reverend David Symm officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery in Farwell, TX. Casket bearers are his family.
Memorial Contributions can be made to Lutheran Braille Workers of America, PO Box 5000, Yucaipa, CA 92399.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Steed-Todd Funeral Home and Crematory, 800 E Manana Blvd, Clovis, New Mexico (575) 763-5541. You may also sign the online guest registry at www.steedtodd.com .
