Oma Mae Abendroth

Oma Mae Abendroth was born October 25, 1918 to A.D. and Lula Wyche Younger in Ada, OK and died January 3, 2006 at the age of 87 years, 2 months and 9 days. With her parents she traveled to Sweetwater, OK by covered wagon, the trip took them 11 days. Oma married Cricket Stewart on October 11, 1934. To this union there were 6 children born. In 1973 Oma married Don Abendroth. They moved to Mesa, AZ where she made her home until her death. She was preceded in death by both husbands; 2 infant daughters; 1 son, Larry in 1993; both parents; 2 brothers and 5 sisters. She is survived by 2 daughters, Geneva Morgan of the home, Romelda McKinley of Queen Creek, AZ; 2 sons, Robert Stewart of Mesa, AZ and Lavoy Stewart of Winslow, AZ; 1 sister, Ila Anderson of Sweetwater, OK; 1 brother, Herbert Younger of Riverside, CA; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, January 6, 2006 from 5-7:00 p.m., Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ.
