Viola Adcox

ADCOX, Viola In loving memory of my beloved mother who passed away after a short illness on March 31, 2006. Born 02/13/1924 in Mantua Ohio. She worked as a data processor for the 12th Naval District, San Diego, receiving awards and a letter of recommendation for excellent work until she retired. She lived life fully, an Eastern Star she loved nature and enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S.A., Mexico, and Canada before settling in Mesa, Arizona where she lived for 30 years. Her hobbies included rock hunting, gardening, crafts, and jewelry making. A matriarch of 5 generations, she relocated to Sacramento in 2004 to be closer to her daughter and family. Although she only lived in Sacramento for 18 months, her time with us was too brief. She filled our lives with precious and loving memories. She leaves behind a daughter Connie Fribance of Sacramento; a son, Rodney Adcox of Kahuku, Hawaii; granddaughters: Jacqueline Martin of Chico, and Deanna McBride of Sacramento; Great-grandchildren: Christopher and Michael Lincoln of Dinuba, CA; William Martin and Samantha Rogers of Chico; Great-Great grandchildren: William Martin IV of Chico, and Xavior Lincoln of Dinuba, CA. Her final resting place will be in the National Cemetery, Phoenix, AZ, where she will join her husband, Mason Edward Adcox, who preceded her in death. In our memories and in our hearts, love lasts forever. Arrangements are under the direction of Bunker's University Chapel in Mesa (480) 830-4105. Sign the Guest Book at eastvalleytribune.com
