Anne DellaMorte

DellaMorte,Anne MarieCollisonPassed away February 28, 2011, just three days short of her 100th birthday. She spent her final days at the Cape Regency Health Care Facility in Centerville, Massachusetts Anne was born in Royal Oak, MD. and spent her early life in Catskill, New York. She was married in Catskill in 1929 to Joseph DellaMorte. They spent their lives together until Joseph died in 1986. Anne and Joseph owned an operated DellaMorte's Bakery in Catskill until 1946 when they moved to Mesa, Arizona. There, she and Joseph opened a drapery manufacturing business in 1952. They retired from this business in 1980. In 1987, Anne moved to New Bern, North Carolina to live with her daughter, Anne Marie Arends. In 1991, she relocated to West Barnstable, Massachusetts to live with her son John. She is survived by her son Vincent of Waukegan, Illinois; her son John of West Barnstable, Massachusetts; her daughter Annie Marie Arends of New Bern, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Anne will be buried along side of her husband, Joseph near Woodbridge, Virginia.
