BIRD, Jeffrey Alan,Went to be with the Lord on Dec.23rd, 2011 as the result of a traffic accident. Born October 28, 1971 to William David Bird Sr. and Audrey Tadlock Bird in Mission Viejo, California, younger brother to William David Bird Jr. Jeff was blessed to grow up as a "country boy" in Murrieta, California, and Auburn, California. He competed in 4-H with home raised Angus cattle, and become involved in showing Morgan Horses when he was 15. He went on to compete at the highest levels with his mare, S.A. Desiree winning Championships in Western Pleasure Trail Horse competitions and the World Championship in 1992. In 1994 the family moved to Mesa, Arizona. For the past six years Jeff has been a contracted Single Copy route driver for the East Valley Tribune. He was on his route when the accident occurred. He leaves behind his wife of 15 years, Kelly Mae Jefferson, his beloved 9 year daughter, Destiny Hope Bird, the joy of his life, his best friend, brother Dave, his soon to be sister-in-law Heater Garbe, as well as his parents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jeff will be remembered by all who knew him for his wacky sense of humor, sportsmanship, being an avid "Trekker" and his winning ways on the xbox. Memorial service and Celebration of Life will be held at Crossroads Church of the Nazarene, NE corner of Ray and Price Roads Chandler, AZ, at 4:00pm Friday December 30th, 2011.Sign Guest Book ateastvalleytribune.com
