Judy Cooper Greer, 61, will held Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., at the Elmwood Ward Building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 925 N. Harris in Mesa AZ. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the Relief Society Room. Interment will be in Mesa City Cemetery.Judy passed away on Thursday, May 27th 2010. She was born on November 25th 1948, in Flagstaff, AZ. She married Paul Greer on June 15, 1967. She and Paul co-managed the Best Western Pony Soldier Motel in Flagstaff for 30 years. She was currently working at Adoption Media Dot Com. in Mesa, AZ. She has been there for the last five years.Judy had a B.S. in Elementary Education, graduating from Northern Arizona University. She was an avid reader. She also spent many hours running and cycling. She ran several marathons, including Toronto and St. George. She took great pride in her home and enjoyed decorating, cooking and helping with yard work. She was very active in the LDS Church working in the MIA, Primary, Relief Society also teaching Sunday School. She enjoyed traveling and seeing new places was a great interest to her.She is survived by her husband, Paul Greer of Mesa; her children, Mindy and Christopher Greer ; and her mother Arthur Meeks Cooper, all of Mesa, AZ; and her brother, Larry Cooper of Orem, Utah.Arrangements are being handled by Greer's Mortuary of Winslow.
