Patricia Ann Dillon, 73, of Mesa, died June 30, 2005 at Banner Garden Hospice House. Born March 17, 1932 in East Chicago,IN, the youngest of four children of Mary Joyce Dillon and Henry Joseph Dillon, she grew up in Colorado Springs and Denver, CO. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in Colorado Springs and earned degrees in history and international relations from Colorado College. She was a director for the Girl Scouts of America in Grand Rapids, MI; Europe; and Santa Fe, NM and worked as an accountant in Denver and Santa Fe before retiring to Mesa in 1997. Miss Dillon was a pastoral care minister at Queen of Peace and All Saints Catholic churches, both in Mesa. Devoted to family, she loved Irish folklore and history, served as the family genealogist, and was a beloved sister and aunt. She also was a lifelong friend to animals. She was predeceased by brothers Edward William Dillon and Henry Joseph Dillon. Survivors include her sister, Mary Joyce Tinsley; sister-in-law Christine Dillon; nieces and nephews Hank Dillon, John Dillon, Kathy Webb, David Dillon, Allison Langevin, Robin Dillon and Patricia McPherson, all of Arizona; Marie Dillon, Evanston, IL.; Margaret Sakievich, N. Augusta, S.C.; Denise Heffley, Lawrenceville, GA; and Tim Dillon; and their families. Services were held in Mesa. The family suggests donations to Banner Garden Hospice House, 7200 E.
