Sean Richard KNIGHT

KNIGHT, Sean Richard 42 years old, of Taylor, Arizona died suddenly in his home on Monday, March 14, 2011. Sean was employed as fixed asset manager at Show Low Ford, a new car dealership owned and operated by the Hatch family. Sean was loved by all that knew him including his family, employees, customers, and fellow church members. Sean married Sandra Lea Bennett of Mesa, Arizona on September 18, 1987 and they have 5 loving children. Levi Richard Knight Kirsten, Christian Sean Knight, Halie Marie Knight, Tanis Lea Knight, and Jessie Lynn Knight. Sean also is survived by his parents, Lyle R. and Toril Knight of Billings, Montana. He leaves 4 siblings, Melanie Engen Erik, Jason L. Knight Jennifer, Kristine L. Berger Ronn, and Rochelle Price Barry. Sean was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and when his father returned from the war in Vietnam he, at the age of 1, moved with his parents to Arizona. Sean graduated from Mesa High School in 1987, and completed his course work at the University Of Utah in 1994 and entered graduate school at Arizona State University. Sean enjoyed a long career in the automotive service industry logging 16 years of employment. Sean received his Eagle Scout at the age of 13 and subsequently earned three Eagle Palms. He lived the scout oath and law throughout his life and was well known as the first to volunteer when anyone needed help, and quick to entertain with a humorous story or event. Sean loved the outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, or just riding his four-wheeler. At the time of his death Sean was serving as the Elders Quorum President in the Taylor 4th Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day- Saints. Sean will be eternally remembered as an extraordinary husband, father, brother, and son. He is and will be greatly missed. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 21st at 10:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lovelake Chapel 700 E. Lovelake Rd. Taylor, AZ, with a visitation with the family starting at 9:00 am. Interment will be at the Mesa City Cemetery.
