June Siegner

Longtime "Auburnite", June Siegner passed away quietly on June 9, 2013 at age 95 of natural causes. She was born July 6, 1917, the daughter of Max Ammon and Carmel Kelley also of Auburn and graduated from Placer High School. Over her lifetime, she maintained many long lasting friendships in the area and will be dearly missed by her family and by all who knew her. June was preceded in death by husbands Jon Leland Forster of Auburn, Jack Samples of Sacramento, and Frederick Siegner of Washington and by her sister, Maxine Barry of Auburn. She is survived by her daughter, Jacklyn Lee Cottrell of Rocklin and son, Jon Rober Forster of Rocklin. She is also remembered and loved by her four grandchildren and six great grandchildren who all live in Placer County and affectionately referred to her as "Gran".
Per June's expressed wishes, no services will be held. She will be laid to rest in the Ammon-Kelley gravesite, Auburn Cemetery, Auburn, Calif.
