Bonnie Cantrell

Bonnie Cantrell of Iowa Hill, Calif., passed away, August 16, 2014, at the Westview Healthcare Center in Auburn, Calif. She was born March 8, 1913, in Ark., to Martin and Laura Parker.
Bonnie moved to California, met and married Hub Cantrell. Together they owned and ran the Iowa Hill Store. After the death of Hub, Bonnie continued to run the store, bar and was post mistress of the Iowa Hill post office. She resided it the pink house next to the store in Iowa Hill for many years until she moved to Westview in Auburn, Calif.
She is survived by her brother, Grover Parker of Sacramento, Calif., numerous nieces, and nephews, and many friends.
Internment will take place, Saturday, September 6, 2014, 1:00 p.m at the Iowa Hill cemetery along with a potluck to celebrate her 101 years of life at the Iowa Hill Community Park.
