Jack was born on May 21, 1931 in Roseville, Calif. He was the youngest of 11 children born to Michael and Gertrude McNulty. Jack passed away peacefully at this home on March 24, 2013 at the age of 81.
Jack grew up in Roseville, graduating from Roseville High School in 1949 where he was an accomplished athlete excelling in football, basketball and baseball. He went on to serve three years in the Air Force, during the Korean War.
An avid golfer, Jack belonged to the Diamond Oaks mens club, where he enjoyed many rounds of golf with family and friends over the years, including teaching his three grandsons the game as they enjoyed playing along with him.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend who was always willing to be part of his grandchildren's activities. He logged many hours at soccer, basketball and baseball games, track meets, cross country events and dance performances. He shared many happy family vacations at Lake Tahoe and Northstar. Jack will be sadly missed but never forgotten by his wife Jean of 61 years, daughers Dora Harbour (Jack) Dawn Bennett (David) and grandchildren Jenna, Kaitlin, Matthew, Shane, Jillian, Riley, Haley and Lucas.
A celebration of Jack's life will be held Friday March 29, 2013 10 a.m. at Cochrane's Chapel of the Roses, 103 Lincoln St, Roseville.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sutter Hospice, 1836 Sierra Gardens Dr. Suite 130, Roseville CA 95661.
