Norman Albert Bratton

The loving family of Norman Albert Bratton, announce that our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away on Monday, June 3rd, 2013. Norman was born in Sedro Woolley, WA, on January 28th, 1925, to Curtis and Gladys Bratton. He was preceded in death by his siblings; Neil and Shirley and he is survived by his sister; Ladona.
Norman's legacy will live on through his wife, Virginia Bratton, and their children Sam & Dixie Lovato, Gary & Geri Teixeira , Lana Henderson, Linda Bratton, Chris Whitney, and Craig & Kelly Bratton, 9 grandchildren; Amber, Benjamin, Rebekah, Rachel, Jason, Neil, Thomas, Keith & Brian, two great-grandsons; Shane and Darrin and numerous nieces and nephews. Norman instilled a hard work ethic and strong family values in us all, and we will continue to strive to make him proud! Norman proudly served in the United States Army from 1943 to 1946. He then became an automotive mechanic and owned his own shop for many years. Norman enjoyed hard work and he was always busy with a new home improvement project of some kind. He was a strong support for both his family and friends. Norman was a member of the Optimus club for many years in the Bay Area, where he helped support the DARE program and children's safety.
A celebration of Norman's life will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. It will be held at Centerpoint Community Church located at 515 Sunrise Avenue, Roseville, CA 95661
