Richard Arthur Charles Kreutzer, 75, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 from lung cancer/COPD. Born and raised in San Francisco, he passed away peacefully at his home in the arms of his beloved wife.
He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Judith Hall Kreutzer, his two sons Kurt, 48, of Los Gatos and Rick, 43, of Northern Calif., grandson Keegan as well as four nieces, one nephew, two great nephews and one great niece, all of Northern California.
After living in the Bay Area until 1981, he moved to Chico where he worked for Chevron. He returned to Folsom in 1988 and retired in 1997. He then worked part time in Haz-Mat for the City of Folsom for a number of years. He had a passion for history and attending reenactments of the Civil War, and loved spending time with family and friends. Services will be held Friday, March 14, 2014 at Oak Hills Church in Folsom at 1 p.m., reception to follow immediately at the home from 2:30 to 6 p.m. Memorial donations would be appreciated for Blue Ravine Rescue Dogs Animal Hospital in Folsom or to the .
