Wayne Curtis Runnestrand
1936 - 2014

Wayne Runnestrand was born on May 9, 1936 in Grand Junction, Colo., and was a resident of Roseville, Calif., for the past 70 years.
He was preceded in death by: his Mother Irene Roberts, Father Kenneth Runnestrand Sr., Step-Father Stephen Roberts, Step-Mother Bea Runnestrand, Brother Kenneth Runnestrand, and Daughter Debra Ann Sherry. He is survived by: his beloved wife of 25 years, Gennie Runnestrand of Roseville, Son Wayne Runnestrand of Providence, R.I., Daughter Tinamarie Varner (Blain) from Lincoln, Calif., Daughter Anita Nunez Goldman (Chris) of Rocklin, Calif., half Brothers and Sisters Roy Runnestrand (Connie, Grand Junction, Colo., Scott Runnestrand, Tex., DonnaJo Judson (Bill) Utah, and Joy Sixbey (Butch) Nev., and Step Brother James Roberts (Donna) Idaho. Wayne also has seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren together with several Nieces and Nephews.
Wayne's military service was in the U.S. Navy (Seabees) 1954 to 1958. After 28 years of service Wayne retired in 1993 from working at Areojet in Rancho Cordova, Calif. Following retirement he enjoyed playing golf, flying RC airplanes both big and small, camping with friends, fishing, bowling, and doing some flight instruction at Karl Harder's Flying service.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a Pot Luck Celebration of Life for Wayne Runnestrand on April 12, 2014 starting at 11:30 a.m. at Maidu Community Center, located at 1550 Maidu Drive, Roseville, CA 95661.
