Haldon Lee
7/26/1933 - 3/21/2013

Hal went to heaven on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the age of 79, after a courageous battle with cancer. His loving family was there with him as he peacefully slipped into rest.
Hal is survived by his wife of 53 years, Donna, son Ed (Lisa), daughter Nancy (Dereck), and son Steve (Michael); grandchildren Lauren, Katie, Ryan, Megan, Donnie, Austin, Christopher, Kyle; brother Dan, and nephew Ken.
Hal graduated from Hollister High School and San Jose State College, where he earned a degree in mechanical engineering. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and a creative mind, which led to many inventions and business ventures. He formed a plastics manufacturing company, American Poly-Therm, in 1961 in North Sacramento, which eventually moved to the Lincoln airport. There he also built crop duster airplanes at Weatherly Aviation, test flying every one himself. He continued working as a consultant until entering the hospital March 1, 2013.
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the physicians,
nurses, and other staff at Sutter Roseville Hospital for their untiring efforts to care for him and keep him comfortable.
Memorial contributions for Hal may be made to: The Gideons International: PO Box 1933, Carmichael, CA 95608 or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Research Center:www.lls.org (1-888-557-7177).
Friends and family are invited to a memorial to honor Hal's well lived life which will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013, 3:30 p.m., at Granite Springs Church, 1170 East Joiner Parkway, Lincoln, Calif. Attire will be casual, the way Hal would have wanted it.
