Ruby Flowers

Ruby was born in Kansas on March 10, 1925, and passed away on March 26, 2013 at the age of 88 after a brief illness. She lived a full life until her death.
Ruby lived in Sonora, California where she met and married her husband Robert Flowers on January 2, 1953.
Ruby and Robert, with his brother Richard Flowers, started the business Flowers Transportation and later Flowers Tires.
In December 1951, Ruby began a 30 year career as a bookkeeper, working for the Placer County Bank, which later became the Bank of California.
After retiring from The Bank of California, Ruby obtained her real estate license and worked for Century 21 for 20 years. She retired from Century 21 at the age of 82. Ruby was an active member of Parkside Church. She never let the grass grow under her feet, and all of her friendships were lifelong.
Ruby is survived by: her sister Bernice Wadlow of Sonora California, brother Clarence Eby of Denver, Colorado, nieces, Pamela Neher, Ginny Lu Wise, Penny Forgone, Vicki Eber, and Laura Lothian, nephews, David Flowers, Dean Flowers, and her many close friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Flowers, her stepson Jimmy Flowers, and brother Paul Eby.
There will be no service per her request.
