Richard Evan
10/13/50 - 10/14/13

Age 63 October 13, 1950 - October 14, 2013 He passed away at Auburn Faith Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He was loved by so many, was a hard working and devoted father and had a tremendous heart. Richard was born in Winnemucca, Nev. and raised in California. Richard had deep roots in the Auburn area, his great-Uncle was Ralph LeFebvre. Richard was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked in maintenance in Fresno, Calif. where he helped raise his son Richard E. Brandon II. In the 1980's he was a volunteer firefighter with Consolidated Fire Dept. in Auburn, Calif. He then worked many years at Auburn Faith Hospital in the maintenance Dept. Rick enjoyed singing and entertaining his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother Sara Crosby; his father Pat Brandon; sister Susan Brandon; ex-wife Tammy (Brandon) Winn; long-time partner Rena Budreau; sons; Daniel Hall, Richard and Andrew Brandon; daughters: Christina (James) Todd and Patricia (Matt) Donovan; seven granddaughters; two grandsons; and nieces and nephews.
A Memorial will be held at the Mt. Vernon Grange Hall 3185 Bell Rd Auburn, Calif. 95603. From 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Saturday October 19, 2013.
