McINTYRE, (Jean) Anne
nee Hyndman
Passed away peacefully with her son Donald by her side, in Stony Plain, Alberta on Friday, May 10, 2013. Predeceased by her husband, James Neil McIntyre, Anne is survived by her children, Catherine, Donald, and Margaret (David), and sister Lee. She was born on August 12, 1928 in Edmonton, Alberta to Charles A. and Helen Hyndman.
Anne was a gifted artist and her hand-drawn cards and stencils are cherished by friends and family who received them. Her beautiful pen and ink drawings of her first toller, Torquil, were published in The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever (1996). Anne's love of classical music sustained her in her final months and has been passed down to her children. She had a wide circle of friends who will miss her.
The family would like to thank the staff at
the Good Samaritan Care Centre for their dedicated and compassionate care of
Anne and for their support through this difficult time.
