Harpal Dhaliwal

DHALIWAL, Harpal Kaur
August 15, 1952 - December 13, 2012
Harpal Kaur Dhaliwal left this world on December 13th, 2012 at 1:04 a.m., at the age of only 60. After living a full and multi-layered life, she courageously battled, with strength and endurance, a six year battle with Multiple Myeloma, an aggressive and painful white blood cell cancer.
She leaves behind her two lovely children, her son, Akashdeep (Steve) Dhaliwal, and her daughter, Sapna Dhaliwal, and was predeceased by her husband, Harbhajan Dhaliwal. She also leaves behind numerous family and friends.
Harpal had an upswing in her recovery from Multiple Myeloma, three years into her illness, and proceeded to heal and improve in significant and empirically evident measure, after all concerned medical professionals had estimated/predicted her death, as well as closing her medical file. She underwent a naturopathic/alternative therapy, and was on a path to recovery. She lived a full, extra three years.
Harpal from her youth was a vivacious and personable person, who loved with her whole heart.
She will be deeply missed by her children for the remainder of their years, and will live in their hearts and memories forever. She will also be missed by many other family and friends, especially by those who loved her sincerely and who knew her well.
The Funeral Service for Harpal will be held at Hainstock's Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9810 - 34th Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB on Wednesday December 19th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. This service will be followed by Sehaj Path da Bhog and Langar at Gurdwara SIngh Sabha, 4504 Gurdwara Road NW, Edmonton, AB.
The Dhaliwal family sincerely extends invitation and welcomes all those who knew Harpal and wish to pay their respects.
In writing this as her daughter, I would also like to finish this obituary by allowing my inner child to say, Mommy, I love you.
