JASTRZEBSKI, Helena (nee Oseicka)
April 29, 1948 - February 15, 2013
Helena died peacefully at home on February 15th, 2013.
She will be fondly remembered and missed by her two devoted sons, Robert Jastrzebski (Maya Day) and Arthur (Beth) Jastrzebski and her grandchildren Shae-Lynn, Lauren, Sebastian and Julia Jastrzebski and Dreena and Doran Payment. She also leaves behind three sisters, Irena (Leon; dec.) Rogacz, Jadwida (Alfons) Frac, Teresa (Adam; dec.) Woloszczuk and one brother, Jan (Anna) Osiecka, along with many neices and nephews in Canada and in her home-country of Poland.
She was predeceased by her parents Roman and Cecylia Oseika, sisters Maria (Wladyslaw) Cienkowski and Krystyna (Marian) Wozniak and brother Bronislaw (Teresa) Oseicki.
Helena was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking for her family as family was of above-all importance. She was also a fast-friend to all who met her. Her story-high Hollyhock flowers will be an annual tribute to her love for gardening and her desire to help those around her.
Visitation will be available starting at 10:00 a.m. on Friday February 22nd at Holy Rosary Polish Catholic Church, 11485 - 106 Street, Edmonton, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at noon and Interment at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, 4814 Meridian Street, Edmonton.
