Born in Manitoba, Leo lived a full and interesting life. He served in the army and raised a very large family. He was very proud of each and every one of his children. He loved to play cards, listen to country and fiddle music and taking turns going to the casino with his kids.
Leo will be sadly missed by all. He was and will always remain a true example of a life well lived. Although we appreciate that his suffering is over, it is still hard to say goodbye.
We wanted to take this time to thank the Kipness Centre for looking after Dad and the special care they gave to our family. The staff treated us as family and for the care and attention they gave us, we cannot express our gratitude enough.
No flowers please. We would like all donations to be made c/o Leo Dupras to the Kipness Centre for Veterans (Saskatchewan Unit), 4470 McCrae Avenue NW, Edmonton AB T5E 6M8.
Cremation has taken place as Dad did not want a funeral, but we will have a Celebration of life to share memories about Dad with everyone.
It will take place on Saturday May 11, 2013, at the Maple Leaf Athletic Club located at 12133 - 67 Street, Edmonton, AB from 3:00 -5:00 p.m.
