We are sad to announce that Madeline Sinclair passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at the age of 85. She was a generous spirit and a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by many. Madeline is survived by her son Jim (Victoria Auston) of Vancouver, daughter Patti (Michael Shields) of Edmonton, grandchildren Stephanie Shields and Julian Auston-Sinclair, sister Anne Semeniuk of Edmonton, brother Raymond Zaporozan (Phyllis) of Coquitlam, BC, and many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and friends. Madeline was predeceased by her husband Alex, parents Mary and Sam, and siblings Edna, Victor, Joe, and Hilda.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of Madeline's life on Thursday, January 10, 2012, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the Old Timers Cabin, 9430 - 99 Street (Scona Road), Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alberta Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
