JOB, Margaret "Peggy"
October 1, 1914 - January 13, 2013
On Sunday, January 13, 2013 Peggy passed away peacefully at the age of 98.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Peggy Anne, and son, Brian (Susan); her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jonas), Hilary (Jay), Todd, and Michael (Alycia); and great- grandchildren, Audrey and Hugh. Peggy was predeceased by her husband, Len, in 1967, and her nine brothers and sisters. A long-time resident of South Edmonton, having grown up and lived on farms in what is now Mill Woods, Peggy will be remembered by the generations of students she taught in the Stoney Creek, Wimbledon, Mill Creek and Ellerslie school districts from 1933 to 1970. Peggy loved traveling, gardening, reading, and debating social and political issues.
Special thanks to the staff of Devonshire Care Centre for their constant care and attention, and to Patricia and Sherrill (Golden Hearts Companion Company) for their visits over the last six years.
A Celebration of Peggy's Life will be held during the spring and will be announced at a later date.
