PETERSEN, Patricia Gail
October 21, 1947 – December 15, 2012
It is with deep sadness, but many loving memories that we announce the passing of Patricia Gail Petersen at the age of 65 years.
She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her loving and devoted husband of 44 years Wayne Petersen, daughter Tina (Harold) Woods, granddaughter Jaida Woods; brothers Lewis (Lorna) Dockstader of Calgary, AB and Brian (Marilyn) Dockstader of Sherwood Park, AB. Also left to cherish her memories are some very special cousins, other dear relatives and close friends who Gail held close to her heart. Special thanks to the caregivers at St. Joseph's Hospital – Palliative Care for their support and care over the last two months.
Gail was born and raised in Edmonton, AB., where she married her high school sweetheart in her early 20's and started their family while living in Sherwood Park Alberta. Gail worked for Woodward's for more than 15 years and made many wonderful friendships during her time there. Through the years she enjoyed the families many camping and fishing trips together. Gail was always making beautiful crafts, baking and could cook a delicious home cooked meal. She will be remembered as a very caring, devoted and compassionate person who always put others ahead of herself. She will be greatly missed.
Respecting Gail's wishes, Respecting Gail's wishes, cremation has taken place, no formal service will be held, instead a tea will take place Saturday, January 5 at St Albert Evangelical Lutheran Church, 11 Glenview Cres, St. Albert, AB T8N 1B7, at 1:00 p.m.
