Sharyl June (Bulmer) Semeniuk

Sharyl June Semeniuk (nee Bulmer) March 6, 1948 - January 28, 2013 "While we are mourning the loss of our friend, others are rejoicing to meet her behind the veil." (J Taylor)

Sharyl passed away suddenly and peacefully during an afternoon nap at her home in San Tan Valley, AZ. An amazing mother, steadfast sister, loving daughter, devoted friend and omniscient wife, she will continue to be loved and missed by all who knew her. Although her departure was far too early, there is no doubt that she lived a full life, surrounded by wonderful people every step of her journey. Highlights include her marriage to Ray in 1972, the births of her two beautiful daughters, her many victories in track and field, curling, bowling, softball and blackjack, and more recently retirement to her prized Arizona home, where she was able to refine her bargain-hunting techniques.

Sharyl is survived by husband Ray, daughters Sharra and Lorinda, mother June, sisters Lynn (Mick), and Lorraine, and brothers Tom, Jim (Laurie), Dave and Charlie (Brenda), as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Herb.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Festival Place at 2:00pm Saturday, February 16, 2013. 100 Festival Way, Sherwood Park, AB.
