Walter ZUCHT

ZUCHT, Walter Harvey
September 6, 1923 - February 20, 2013
Born in Stony Plain, Alberta, Walter moved to Edmonton in 1945 and worked at Gainer's Meat Packing Plant until he retired in 1988. He devoted many years to various charities.
He will be sadly missed by his son, William (Irene); daughters, Patricia Pierce, Donna Chaput (Paul Mills); grandchildren, Billy, Kevin (Teri-Ann), Garry (Kathy) Zucht, Terri- Lynn (Randy) McLaughlin, Steven (Jackie) and Laurie Leicht, Christina (James) Clapham, Bradley, Scott, Nichole Chaput; great grandchildren, William, Nicholas, Cassandra, Tessa, Ella, Mikhaila, Cody, Kyle, Joseph, and Layla; sister, Joyce June (Philip) Heiland, as well as nieces, nephews, and friends.
Walter was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Lynn; parents, Gustav and Magdalena; and sister, Erma Kuss.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2012 at 2:00pm at the Old Timers Cabin, 9430 Scona Road, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre, or a charity of one's choice.
