Dr. T was one of my favorite professors, and I had the opportunity to work with him after graduating. He was always asking his students not to rely on their black boxes for the answer, but to think. My condolences to his family.

Condolences to family for the loss of Dr. Thomson. He was an amazing man. Giving his time, he certainly helped to inspire our students with his amazing woodworking projects. His presence here was/is certainly missed.

Stan was such a great help at Avalon when I was thrown into a Shop Teacher role. Showed me how to operate the lathes and also made me a very nice end table that I still use all the time. It always made me smile when he'd have a group of 5-6 grade 9 students huddled around him as he was helping them prepare wood to make wooden bowls. The kids were very fond of him and respected him. Very sorry for your loss.
